SLB announces the launch of Sequestri, a comprehensive platform of solutions for carbon storage. It also manages to cover the entire life cycle of CCS(carbon capture and storage) projects, under the structure of a suite of services that plans to establish a sustainable approach model in the management of carbon emissions.
The Sequestri platform is oriented to CCS projects.
Through Sequestri, SLB integrates customized technologies, specialized hardware and digital workflows that enable more accurate site selection, optimized well design and continuous monitoring of CO₂ storage. All of this is supported by more than 25 years of experience in CAC projects, making it an established proposition in the market.
[post_relacionado]On the other hand, it integrates an EverCRETE cementing system, specially developed to resist corrosion caused by injected CO₂. In addition, it incorporates subway valves, measurement tools and digital simulation systems to model reservoir behavior with high reliability.
Interconnected technologies make it possible to evaluate, classify, design and monitor each stage of geological storage. From geological modeling to regulatory validation, the Sequestri platform is designed to ensure long-term safety and efficiency.
Also SLB also proposes full integration between its Capturi modular system for carbon capture and Sequestri for carbon storage. This allows developers to approach the decarbonization process as a continuous flow from the source of emissions to their permanent confinement.
