CWHI has announced the completion of the first XXL monopiles for the Inch Cape offshore wind farm. This initial delivery marks the development of offshore wind energy and maintains the company’s status in the provision of critical infrastructure.

Inch Cape Offshore Limited will be responsible for generating electricity to supply more than half of the homes in Scotland. In doing so, the park establishes itself as a strategic part of the United Kingdom’s energy objectives.
[post_relacionado]The monopiles have been fabricated at the specialized Qinzhou Monopile shipyard, operated by CWHI. Measuring 11.5 meters in outer diameter, up to 110 meters in length and with a maximum weight of 2,300 tons, these structures represent the scale and sophistication required to support state-of-the-art offshore wind turbines. In total, 32 monopiles will be delivered as part of the contract.

Through its accumulated technical expertise and manufacturing infrastructure in Qinzhou, the company strengthens its role as a strategic supplier of essential components for offshore wind farms in Europe and Asia.
